Sly in patients with respiratory diseases because of its depressing effect on breathing. Zolpidem has few drug interactions with other medicines. However, caution should be used when combining it with other sedative drugs. Zolpidem used at higher dosages can cause withdrawal symptoms (muscle cramps, sweats, shaking, and seizures) when the drug is abruptly discontinued. Zolpidem can cause abnormal behavior with confusion and paradoxical insomnia and should be discontinued if these symptoms appear. SIDE EFFECTS: The most common side effects of Zolpidem are drowsiness, dizziness, and a "drugged" feeling, which probably reflect the action of the drug. Other side effects include confusion, insomnia, euphoria, ataxia (balance problems), and visual changes. 1 Glossary zolpidem Center Next Printer-Friendly Format Email to a Friend From the Doctors at MedicineNet.com eszopiclone, Lunesta - Eszopiclone is a non-benzodiazepine, oral, sedative drug (sleeping pill) that is used for treating insomni

Idea.) I still need my sleep just like we all do, and when it's a GOOD night sleep it's a bonus. My point in posting is not to provoke people who think it is not addictive, I just want people who do use it to understand what the nature of this drug is. The info is on the site, inluding info about prescribing this med. (which for those that are not aware, is only a 7-10 period of time. This is the manufacturers recomedation). Hope this helps some people to find the info to understand this drug a bit better. Also if there is a way to PM people on this board, for anyone that may be experiancing the wickedness of this drug when it gets extream, PM and I will try to help with some of what has helped me.)
